A user may be blocked on different instant messenger and communication websites if, another acquaintance wishes to avoid the addition of the person’s name in his friend or contact list.
However, there is an easy way to find out the people who have blocked some other people on these instant messaging websites. Through a technology employed by AmIBlocked.com, it is convenient to find out if a person has been blocked by anyone else. In order to get to the same, a form needs to be filled on the site. This then takes processing time of a few seconds and one can actually find out whether he/she has been blocked or not.
Similar blocked status checks are also possible on msn messenger, yahoo messenger, etc. However with respect to Microsoft, the company had actually configured the privacy settings for Passport and MSN Messenger accounts of its customers.
